HanengCharts are a collection of Javatm applets that lets you easily add dynamic and interactive charts to your web pages. What kind of support do I get? We offer first-rate support at no additional cost on all our products. What chart types does HanengCharts support? HanengCharts supports 25 different charts. See out Chart Gallery to see them all. What is the licensing policy for HanengCharts? HanengCharts licenses are based on a per domain or IP address basis. We also offer an Enterprise License that allows unlimited use of HanengCharts within a company or organization without domain or IP restrictions. See our license FAQ for more information. Can I use HanengCharts on a CD-ROM or directly from the file system? Yes! As long as you have a valid license key in place you can use HanengCharts with any HTML file read directly from the file system, e.g. if you double click on an HTML file in Windows Explorer, it will work. Can I use multiple license keys at once? Yes! You can use up to 5 license keys at once. This allows you to transfer a site from a development machine (with one domain name) to the production server (that has a different domain name) without having to change all the license keys in the code. How do I purchase a HanengCharts license? Just use our purchase page and order online. You will receive one or more license keys by email that will unlock your downloaded demo version making it into a full version of HanengCharts 3.1. We offer free 3.x upgrades and discounts on future HanengCharts versions (4.x and 5.x) to all customers that have purchased HanengCharts 3.1. Can I bundle HanengCharts with my own Software? Yes! See our Distribution page for more information. Can I purchase the source code for HanengCharts? No. How do I load data into the charts? You load data into HanengCharts through regular HTML. You can use any system that generates HTML to feed data to HanengCharts from e.g. a database. See our Developers Zone for more information. Can I control the colors of the charts? Yes. You can control background color, text color, grid color, shadow color, line color, bar color and much more. See the documentation for a full list. What is the download time of the chart applet? The size of the HanengChart file is approx. 78KB and will take about 20 seconds on a 56K modem and less than 1 second on a LAN or broadband connection to load the first time the user sees a chart. Can I save the charts as images? No, not directly. You can however use the "Print Scrn" button on your keyboard to take a screen shot of your screen and then just paste that into your favorite image editing program. Can the charts be printed? Yes. Use the browsers printing command. However there are a few problems: 1) In Netscape the applets are printed larger than they appear on the screen. 2) Internet Explorer 5 (or later on Windows 2000) does not print applets very well.
